Description
Nisus Tim-bor® Professional is a water-soluble borate wood treatment designed to protect structural wood against wood-destroying insects and decay fungi. Its versatile formula functions as an insecticide, fungicide, and wood preservative for both preventative treatments and remedial applications on infested wood.
Tim-bor Professional contains 98% disodium octaborate tetrahydrate (DOT) and can be applied as a dust, liquid solution, or foam depending on the application. When applied to bare wood as directed, the borate penetrates the wood to help create long-lasting protection against termites, carpenter ants, wood-destroying beetles, and decay fungi.

Common Applications
Tim-bor® Professional can be used to treat approved bare wood and cellulose materials in crawl spaces, basements, attics, wall voids, framing, floor joists, sill plates, subfloors, decks, fences, sheds, barns, and other structural wood applications.
For liquid applications, Tim-bor Professional can be sprayed onto approved wood surfaces or injected into infested wood and insect galleries. Foam applications can be used to reach wall voids, galleries, and other difficult-to-access treatment areas.
Tim-bor Professional is intended for wood that is protected from excessive rain and is not in direct contact with soil. Painted or sealed wood may require removal of the finish or an alternate treatment method according to label directions.
