1. The Walder Crawl Space Vent Cover is designed
to be installed from the outside of your home.
2. Using the 1/4" drill bit, drill holes in your cover as shown.
3. Peel the liner off the two-sided tape on the back of the cover and position it over your crawl
space vent opening.
4. Using the cover as a guide, drill anchor holes. Use a masonry bit if needed.
5. Remove the cover and insert anchors into the holes.
6. For best results, run a bead of caulk around the mounting flange to block water and air leaks.
7. Reposition the cover and secure with screws.
8. Vent covers may be painted with any paint de- signed for use on plastic.
9. You may insulate your vent covers from inside with rigid foam board, cut to fit, and glued in
