The Pro-Flow Crawlspace Waterproofing Kit - 150' is a comprehensive solution designed to help you effectively install an interior French drain for your crawlspace, ensuring it remains dry and protected from water intrusion. One of the standout features of this innovative system is its unique design that eliminates the need for gravel, simplifying the installation process.
To begin, you simply need to excavate a trench in the crawlspace. The kit includes 12 inches of Pro-Flow material, which can be cleverly folded to form two channels, each measuring 6 inches in width. Once the channels are formed, backfill the trench with the excavated dirt, making sure everything is evenly distributed.
In addition, you will need to install a sump pump basin kit at the lowest point in the crawlspace to effectively collect and remove any water that may accumulate. To complete the setup, extend a drainage line from the sump pump to the outside, leading to a pop-up emitter that will safely discharge water away from your home. This complete system not only seals your crawlspace but also provides long-term protection against moisture and water damage.
